Fry Tofu and White Radish with Chicken

The first dish is the easiest recipe to make and not to hard. All you need to do is cut into pieces, marinate and fry on the pan until golden brown. The tofu are very delicious and good. The second dish was the longest because you need to wash the chicken and take the dirty stuff out inside and also cutting the meat off the chicken. I use a Chinese white radish to go with the chicken combination stir fry. The colour of this dish came out very nice. The taste was very delicious and I like it a lot. This is a good combination with rice. Kids and adults will love these 2 dishes. Try the recipe and enjoy.

Direction:

Fry Tofu dish #1

  1. Take 1 pack of Tofu out of the fridge.
  2. Open package and drain all the water from the package in the sink.
  3. Raise all the tofu and put it on a strainer and set it aside.
  4. Take a cutting board and cut it in to square pieces.
  5. Marinate both sides with paprika, soya sauce, garlic powder and some flour.
  6. Take the fry pan out of the cupboard and put it on the stove.
  7. Turn on medium low heat.
  8. Put some oil on the pan.
  9. When the pan is hot, put the pieces of tofu in the pan
  10. Add all the square tofu pieces in the pan
  11. Fry the tofu for 8 minutes until you see golden brown.
  12. Repeat the same steps for the other side of the tofu
  13. When the Tofu is ready place it on the plate and set it aside
  14. Cut some green onions and sprinkle on the top.

    Direction Cleaning
    1. Put on a pair of dish washer gloves
    2. Take the chicken legs out of the package
    3. wash the chicken.
    4. Take a scissors and cut out some of the fatty skins from the chicken
    5. Take out all the dirty stuff in chicken from the bottom.
    6. Rinse the again
    7. When you see if it is still dirty clean it some more.
    8. Put some some salt all around the chicken.
    9. rub it all around
    10. Rinse the chicken again.
    11. put the chicken in a bowl.

    Marinate the chicken legs:
    1. Take a bowl
    2. Put all the chicken legs in the bowl.
    3. Marinate paprika, garlic powder onion powder, soya sauce, cooking wine, garlic and some flour. Mix it all together well with a wooden spoon or a Tong. (Note: putting cooking wine in the chicken marinate, can take out the chicken smell)
    4. Put the chicken legs in the fridge overnight, so that it will have more flavour.
    5. You can take the the chicken legs out of the fridge the next day and use it when ever you like.

Direction Cooking:

Preparation:
1. Take the White Radish out of the fridge.
2. Take a cutting board and cut the white radish in half and wash it.
Peel the skin off.
3. Cut into strip pieces and put it in a strainer and rinse it.
4. Transfer into a clean bowl and set it aside.
5. Take the bowl of chicken legs out of the fridge.
6. In a cupboard, take a medium size plate and set it aside
7. Put on a pair of dish washer gloves
8. Take out a chicken leg and place it on a cutting board.
9. Use a knife and cut the drum stick off the chicken. Take the drum stick and use a kitchen scissors and cut off the fat skin. Then cut all the meat into pieces and place it on the plate. Take the breast chicken part and remove all the fat skins and cut the meat into pieces and place it on the plate.
10. Repeat the same steps for the 2 more chicken legs
11. Take a garlic and cut into pieces.


Direction Cooking:
1. In a cupboard take out a pan and place it on the stove.
2. turn the heat to medium low.
3. Put some oil on the pan.
4. When the pan is hot, take a bowl of cut up white radish and pour it in the pan and stir for a 2-4 minutes.
5. Pour some hot water in the pan and cook for 10 minutes. Take a pieces of the white radish and taste to see if it is tender. If the white radish is tender, it is ready. if it is not tender, it needs to cook a little bit longer.
6. When it is ready, turn off the heat. Take a strainer spoon and put it in a bowl and set it aside.
7. Pour out the water in the skin and rinse the pan,
8. Place the pan back on the stove. Turn on the heat to medium low and put some oil.
9. When the pan is hot, put the garlic and cook for a few seconds.
10. Pour the plate of chicken meat in the pan and stir for a 5-6 minutes with the garlic. Then wait for a bit.
11. Keep on string until the chicken are all well cook without any red spots.
12. When you think the chicken are ready take one out and check inside to see if it is ready. If it is not then need to be cook a bit longer.
13. When the chicken and onions are ready, pour the white radish in the pan and mix it together well.
14. Turn the heat off. Take a plate and scoop up all the chicken and white radish and set it aside

Rice Noodles Rolls (Chinese steam rice noodles)




This is a Chinese Rice noodles rolls. It is my second time making it. It is very simple and delicious to make. It is not to difficult and it does not take a lot of time. The rice flour and potato starch can be found and bought at a Chinese supermarket. When you spread the batter on the tray you can add whatever you like inside or you can leave it natural. Cooking process is so fast. When rolling the rice noddles you need to use a plastic scrapper, by scrapping and rolling it. You can eat it now or save these rice noddles rolls for breakfast the next day in the fridge and steam it. You can put what ever dipping sauce your desire on the rice noddles rolls. once you make it they will like it a lot. Try the recipe and enjoy!!!

ingredients:
200g rice flour
20g potato starch
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
550ml water

Direction:
1. Use a scale and measure all the ingredients and others. Set it aside.
2. In a clean bowl put 200g rice flour, 20g potato starch and 1/4 tsp salt.
3. Stir the mixture while adding 550ml of warm water slowly. Ensure no lumps in the mixture by pressing with a spatula.
3. Mix in 2 tsp oil, then rest for 10 min.
4. take a small baking tray and smear some oil on it.
5. prepare a plastic scraper to folder the rice noodles into a roll.
6. Stir the mixture and cover the tray with a mixture.
7. Add whatever you desire in the rice noddles roll or you can leave it natural.
8. Take a wok out of the cupboard and place it on the stove. Put a steamer wire rack on the wok. Put some water and turn the heat to high.
9. When the water is boiling. place the tray in the boiling water,
10. Use a cooking soup spoon a scoop some batter into the tray. Make sure it is all cover. make sure it is not to thick.
10. Cover the lid then steam for 2 min under high heat.
11. smear some oil on a place so that the rice noodles will not stick.
12. When the rice noodles are ready, take it out and place the tray on a cutting board. Use a plastic scraper and cut it in half. Then use the scrapoer and roll it into a a roll on each of the rice noodles. Place it on the plate.
13. continue the same steps until all the batter cook and roll up.
14. When it is done you can cut it into pieces with a scissors (Optional)
15. you can make your own desire sauce for dipping.

Fry noddles with pork, eggs and green peas.

Noodles
Direction:

  1. In a cupboard, take out a large pan or pot. Fill up with cold water the quantity noodles that you would need.
  2. Turn on the stove to high heat.
  3. Put a bit of salt in the water and stir to mix in the water.
  4. Put the lid on the pan or pot and wait until the water is boil,
  5. Once the water is boil, pour in the pasta in the pan or pot and stir.
  6. Close the lid and wait until the pasta boil at medium heat for about
    7-10 min.
  7. once it is boil stir it a few times, so that it will not stick
  8. Close the lid and cook it for another 5 min or until it boil with bubble.
  9. When it boil with bubble. Open the lid and take a piece of pasta out and taste to see if it is tender.
  10. If the Pasta is not tender, let it cook for a bit more longer until you taste the pasta is tender.
  11. When the noodles is cook to the tender texture. Take a strainer and put it in the sink and pour the pasta in the strainer.
  12. Rinse the pasta for 2-3 min with cold water.
  13. take come cold water in a pan and put the noodles back in the pan or pot and then put it in a strainer to losing the noodles. Easier to take it out.

    Pork
    Direction:
  1. Take the pork chop out of the fridge.
  2. Place the pork chops on a cutting board. Use a knife and hit the pork, so the meat will be tender
  3. Marinate the pork chop on both side with some soya sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and some cornstarch.
  4. In a cupboard take out a pan turn on the heat high. When the pan is hot, pour some oil.
  5. Put the pork chops on the pan and cook until golden brown
  6. Turn the heat low and cook both sides 4-6 minutes, until you see juice
    that is coming out. That is when you know it is ready.
  7. If you want to check if the pork is well done. All you need to do is take a pair of scissor and cut in the middle. If you see some red or pink it means that means it is not ready.
  8. When it is ready place it on the plate and set it aside.

    Green beans
    Direction:
    1. In a cupboard take out a sauce pan.
    2. pour some cold water and turn the heat high
    3. wait until the water is boil
    4. put some green peas in the pot
    5. wait until it is boil again
    6. that mean it is ready and set it aside

    fry noddles
    Direction:
    1. Take a clean pan out of the cupboard.
    2. place it on the stove.
    3. Take 2 eggs in the fridge and beat it on a bowl.
    4. Take a bowl and put the amount of noddles that you will eat and microwave it for 2 and a half minutes, so that when you cook it on a pan it will be faster.
    4. put some oil on the pan. Use a paper towel and spread the oil all around the pan. turn on the heat to medium and wait until it is hot the pan.
    5. When the pan is hot. pour the egg batter in the pan along the sides.
    Keep of string it around until it is a scramble eggs and fold it and flip it a few times.
    6. Take some of the pork and cut it into pieces and toss it in the pan with the eggs and keep on string.
    7. Now toss some green beans in the fry pan and keep on string for a few seconds.
    8. Take the bowl of noddles and pour it in the pan. and keep on string for a bit. Then add some light soya sauce and stir for a bit to mix. Then add some paprika, onion garlic. salt and some dark soya sauce. Keep on string for about 5–8 minutes with the pork , green beans and eggs.
    9. When it is ready, with a cooking spatula scoop it up the fry noodles and put it in a bowl.
