Boiled Yu Choy

Yu choy is a Chinese vegetable, can be found at a Chinese supermarket. It’s simple to make. The only time that took the longest was washing the yu choy.
I decided to make the yu choy into a boiling version that looks like stir fry when you eat it. It’s very delicious I like it. Look at how beautiful the colour came out after boiling from the water. It came out perfectly and it smells so good. I have the recipe at the bottom how to make this dish.

Direction:

Washing yu choy:
1. Take the package of yu choy out of the fridge.
2. In the cupboard, take out a strainer and a big container to wash the yu choy.
3. Place the large container in the sink. Take a strainer and place it on the other sink.
4. Take the yu choy out of the package and place it in the big container.
5. Separate each yu choy apart. Use a knife and cut off the hard part.
6. Open each yu choy wide and wash it in the water very clean, make sure there is no dirty stuff in the vegetable.
7. Open the cold water and fill the container with water. Take the and part yu choy on each hand. Turn it upside down and separate apart and shake it in the water.
(Note: Make sure all the dirty stuff is out and each vegetable is clean.)
8. Each time a piece is washed, place it in the strainer.
9. Fill the container with water and wash the yu choy four times. Once it’s all wash, put it aside.
(Note: make sure it is all clean and have no dirty stuff.)

Cooking process:
1.Take two garlics and put it flat side of the knife over the garlic. While holding the knife handle, then the bottom palm of your hand carefully hit the knife on the garlic to separate the skin.
2. Repeat the same steps with the other garlic.
3. Take an onion, peel the skin, Put it on the cutting board, cut it in half, turn it on the side and cut it into slices.
4. Boil some water in the kettle.
5.In the cupboard, take out a large pan and place it on the stove.
6. Put some oil in the pan. When the pan is hot, put in the garlic and onions.
7. If there is not enough oil, put some oil on the garlic’s. Press on the garlic. Cook until they are golden brown and you smell
the garlic.
8. When the water is ready, pour some hot water into the large pan.
9. Put the yu choy into a large pan. Make sure they are together and not separated.
10. Close the lid and wait until the water is boiling.
11. When it’s boiling, open the lid and leave the lid off to prevent the yu choy from not having a good colour.
12. Let it cook for a few seconds.
13. Turn the yu choy over to the other side and let it cook for a few minutes.
14. When the Yu choy is ready, turn off the heat and put it on a plate and place it on the table.
15. Enjoy.


Pork with Chinese mushrooms and frozen mix peas

A stir fry Pork with Chinese mushrooms and frozen mix peas is not too hard to make once you get the hand of cooking. You can find the Chinese mushroom at a Chinese supermarket.
An instant pot to make Chinese mushrooms will be so simple and save you less time rather than making it on the stove. When cutting up the porks, they have to be the same size, or else when you cook it, it will cook at different timing. I decide to put some frozen mix peas to make the dish look colourful. Direction:
Cooking Chinese mushrooms from an instant pot:
1. Take the Chinese mushroom out of the bag.
2. Rinse the Chinese mushrooms.
3. Put the Chinese mushrooms into a bowl and soak them over water for 30 minutes.
4. Take out an instant pot. Put some water. Take the bowl of Chinese mushroom and put it in the instant pot.
5. Close the lid. Press the manual button, and it will start automatically.
6. When done. It will release the pressure of the value.
(Note: Never open the lid of the pressure cooker while it is releasing the pressure, or else it will explode.)
7. Once done and the grey thing drops to the bottom, that means it is ready.
8. Take out the Chinese mushroom and put it in a bowl.
9. Rise with cold water until it’s completely cold.
10. Take as many as you need to stir fry.
11. Take the rest of the Chinese mushrooms, put them in a zip-log bag or a frozen bag and put it in the freezer. To use next time when you cook.

Preparation:
1. Take the pork package, take as many as you needed and put it on the cutting board. 
The rest is leftover. Wrap it with a plastic wrapper and put it in the freezer.
2. Cut the pork into pieces, put it in a bowl and set them aside.
3. Take as many Chinese mushrooms as needed, put them on a strainer and rinse it. Set them aside.
4. Take 3-4 garlic’s and peel the skins and cut into pieces,
5. Take an onion, peel the skin, put it on the cutting board. Cut the onion in half and cut it into slices.
6. In the freezer, take out some frozen mix peas, pour them into the strainer and rinse it. Then set them aside.

Cooking the porks:
1.In the cupboard, take out fry pans and put it on the stove.
2. Turn the heat to high.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil.
4. Put the porks into the pan and turn the heat to medium-low.
5. Separate the porks apart and stir a bit,
6. Put a bit of salt, garlic powder and soya sauce.
7. Stir a bit. Let it cook on one side a bit. Turn the heat to low. Then turn it on the other side.
(Note: Keep an eye on the porks because they cook fast. Don’t overcook the porks. It will be tough.)
8. Cook the porks until there is no more pink or red showing.
(Note: you can take kitchen scissors and cut them in the middle to see if the pork cooked well. )
9. Put in some flour to coat the porks and stir until you do not see any more flours.
10. When the porks are done, turn off the heat and put it in a bowl and set it aside.

Cooking the Chinese mushrooms, frozen mix peas and porks together:
1. Use the same fry pan that you cook the porks
2. Turn the heat to high
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil.
4. Take the cut up garlic pieces and some sliced onions and put them into the frying pan.
5. Stir the garlic and onions until they are almost ready.
6. Take the strainer of Chinese mushrooms, put it in the frying pan.
7. Stir a bit.
8. Sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and add a bit of soya sauce.
9. Stir the Chinese mushrooms a bit.
10. Put the frozen mix peas into the pan with the Chinese mushroom and stir a few times.
11. Take the bowl of cooked pork, put the porks into the pan and mix everything,
12. When it’s ready, turn off the heat and scoop it up into a plate and place it on the table.
13. Enjoy.


Rotini pasta with cream of turkey sauce top with parmesan cheese

This is a Rotini pasta. I made a cream of turkey sauce. I cut up some turkey meat from the turkey and frozen it in the freezer. I use frozen turkey meat, a can of cream of mushroom and frozen peas to make this sauce. It is a good pasta sauce to make. Inside the sauce there contains some turkey meat and frozen peas. I made a plate of Ronti pasta mixed with cream of turkey and top with some parmesan cheese, but you can put any kind of cheese of your choice. If you are allergic to cheese, I recommend you not to put any. Look at how colourful the sauce came out and the plate of pasta.
For the first time you make pasta, you will find it hard. But once you do it a couple of times, you will get the hang of it. Then you can make any pasta of your choice. The sauce is very delicious, and I like it. The preparation was not a lot, and it was simple to make this kind of pasta sauce. Once you make this sauce, you can make any pasta sauce.
Kids and adults would like this kind of Rotini pasta with cream of turkey sauce. You can have this for lunch or dinner. If you cannot finish it, you can leave it in the fridge for 2-3 days or freeze it. Once you want to eat it, just take it out of the freeze and defrost it. It’s such a delicious plate of pasta. Rotini pasta cooking:
1. In a cupboard, take out a large pan or pot. Fill up with cold water the quantity
Rotini pasta that you would need.
2. Turn on the stove to high heat.
3. Put a bit of salt in the water and stir to mix in the water.
4. Put the lid on the pan or pot and wait until the water is boiling.
5. Once the water is boiling, pour the pasta into the pan or pot and stir.
6. Close the lid. Turn the heat to medium and wait until it comes to a boil. It takes about 6-7 minutes.
7. Once it’s boiling, stir it a few times so that it will not stick.
8. Close the lid and cook it for another 5 minutes or until it’s boiling with bubbles.
9. Once boiling, open the lid and take a piece of pasta out and taste it too to see if it is tender.
10. If the pasta is not tender, let it cook for a bit longer until you taste it, the pasta is tender.
11. When the pasta cooked to a tender texture. Take a strainer and put it in the sink. Pour the pasta into the strainer.
12. Rinse the pasta for 2-3 minutes with cold water.
13. Put cold water into a pan and pour the pasta back into the pan and rinse pasta.
(Note: Make sure to rinse the pasta in cold water. If you don’t rinse the pasta in cold water, you will not be able to keep it longer).
14. Pour it in a strainer to lose the Rotini and rinse the pasta again. It’s easier to take it out.

Sauce cooking:
Preparation:

1.If you have leftover turkey meat frozen in the freezer, take some turkey out and place it in the microwave and defrost it.
2. Once all defrosted, cut the turkey meat into pieces and put it into a bowl.
3. Take out a can of cream of mushroom. Wash the cover and wipe it clean with a cloth.
4. Open the can with a can opener and set it aside.
5. In the freezer, take out a bag of mix peas. Open the bag and pour some mix peas onto a strainer. Rinse the mix peas.
6. Take an onion and peel the skin. Place the onion on a cutting board and cut it in half. Then cut into slices.

Cooking the sauce:
1. In the cupboard, take out a frying pan.
2. Turn the heat to high
3. When the pan is hot, put in some oil.
4. Put in the onions and stir until almost done.
5. Put the turkey meat into the pan and separate them apart
6. Sprinkle some salt and garlic powder.
7. Stir them a few times and turn the heat to medium
8. Close the lid and let the turkey meat cook for a few minutes.
9. Open the lid and keep on stirring the turkey meat until they are well-done without any pink showing.
10. Put the frozen mix peas into the pan and stir for a few seconds and let it cook for a few seconds.
11. Pour in the can of cream of mushroom into the pan with one cup of cold water.
(note: Make sure everything in the can is poured into the pan.)
12. Keep on stirring until the sauce thickens.
13. When stirring through halfway process. Put in a lot of flour and continue stirring to make the sauce thicken. If you feel you need to add more flour, do not hesitate. It will make the sauce thicken better and more to eat.
14. When the sauce has thickened, turn off the heat and put all the sauce into a bowl and place it on the table.
15. Enjoy.

Making the plate of pasta with cream of turkey top with parmesan cheese:
1. In the cupboard, take a plate.
2. Put as many rotini pasta as you want to eat into a plate.
3. Place it in the microwave and heat it for 3 minutes.
(Note: Heating a place of pasta depends on the wattage of your microwave.)
4. When the pasta is ready, take it out of the microwave and place it on the table.
5. Use a spoon and take as many cream of turkey sauce as you needed and put it into the pasta.
6. Mix it with the pasta
7. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.

Boiled broccoli

This boiled broccoli is very simple to make, and it does not take long. The broccoli can out so perfectly. Look at how green it came out after boiling from the water. It’s very delicious. I like this dish a lot.

Cooking process:
1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan.
2. Place on the stove.
3. Pour some cold water into the large pan. If there is not enough water, you can add more.
(Note: Add just the right amount of water that you need to boil the broccoli.)
4. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid.
5. Wait for about 10 minutes or until the water is boiling.
6. When the water is boiling, put the broccoli into the large pan and cover the lid.
7. Wait for the broccoli to boil up again.
8. Let it continue boiling for 2-3 minutes.
9. Open the lid. Take a knife or a long toothpick. Put it into the broccoli. If you feel the broccoli is tender that means it is ready. If it’s not, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
10. Turn off the heat.
11. Place it on a plate and place it on the table.

Green beans with ground beefs and onions

These green beans with ground beefs and onions are very simple to make. It does not take long, and you can have this dish in no time. 4, Marinate garlic powder, soya sauce, and fish sauce. Mix well, using a wooden spoon or a tong.
5. Put cornstarch and make sure it is coated everywhere.
6. Mix it until you do not see any cornstarch in the bowl.

Cooking process:
1. Take out a non-stick pan and a pan and put it on the stove.
2. Turn on the non-stick pan heat to medium-low.
3. When the pan is hot, add the ground beef.
4. Use a wooden cooking spatula and spread out the ground beef flat.

14. When they are almost done, turn the heat off and close the lid while the stove is still hot.
15. Pour some water on the green beans and close the lid for a few minutes on medium-low heat.
16. While waiting for the green beans, check the ground beef to see if it is ready. When they are ready, remove them from heat
and set them aside.
(Note: Make sure there are no pink pieces and all of them are well-done.)
17. When the water is boiling, open the lid. Take a piece of green bean and taste the texture if it’s a bit crunchy and tender. If it’s not a bit crunchy and tender, you will need to cook it a bit longer.
18. Close the lid and cook for a few minutes until the water is all gone.
19. Put some water into the pan again. Put some flour in some flour to coat all green beans, so that the water and flour can have a better texture and taste better.
20. Stir until you see no more flour.
21. Pour the non-stick pan of ground beef into the green beans together. Turn the heat off while it is still hot and stir 2-3 times.

Direction:
1. Take the package of pancakes
2. Remove pancakes from the package and place them in the oven.
3. Heat the pancakes at 350F (190 degrees) for 2-3 minutes or until it is hot
4. Once it’s ready, place it on the plate.
5. Take a banana and cut it in half. Take half a banana and peel the skin. Slice the banana into pieces and put it around the pancake.
6. Cut some honeydew melon and place 3-5 pieces of melon around the pancakes.
7. If you like, you can pour some maple syrup on your pancakes

Steam frozen redfish with ginger and onions top with green onions

This is the 3rd time I steam a red fish. Look at how perfectly the redfish came out after steaming. The colour is so nice, with some sprinkle of green onions on top. I like this fish a lot, and it tastes very delicious. Since this is my 3rd time making this red fish, I got the hang of cleaning this fish. Once you learn how to do it, you can clean any kind of fish easily.
There are some bones in the fish, but just be careful eating it. The best combination that goes well with this dish would be rice. With all the sauce in the fish that you can mix in the rice. Steaming fish is very healthy and tastes better.
Younger kids would need help from an adult picking the fish meat for them since here are bones in the fish. You can have this fish for lunch or dinner. It is best to eat the whole fish on the same day fresh. Once you eat it, you will love this fish a lot. Try the recipe and enjoy.

Direction Cleaning
1. Take the package of frozen redfish out of the freezer.
2. Take out as many red fish as you can and put it in a bowl of warm water and soak the frozen redfish into the bowl, to unfrozen it for about 4-5 minutes.
(Note: If you are using the whole bag of fish, then soak the whole bag warm water.)
3. Put on a pair of dishwasher gloves
4. Take the redfish out of the bowl.
(Note: If using the whole bag, open the bag with scissors and take the fish out of the bag.)
5. Wash the fish.
6. Take a knife and fish. With an angle of the knife, scrape off the scales everywhere on the fish.
(Note: Make sure the fish is clean without any scales.)
7. Take scissors and cut a straight line on the stomach almost to the middle.
8. Take out all the dirty stuff inside the stomach.
(Note: Make sure the fish is all clean inside.)
9. When it is all clean. Rinse inside and make sure there is no dirty thing inside.
10. When it’s all done. Rinse the fish again. Place it in a mixing bowl to get all the water out.

Marinate the redfish:
1. Put the fish on the plate.
2. Slice up a couple of gingers and set them aside.
(Optional: you can slice the ginger the way you want)
3. Put on one dishwashing glove:
4. Sprinkle some salt on the fish on both sides.
5. Put some soya sauce on the fish on both sides and rub it all around.
6. Sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on both sides, but not too much.
7. Sprinkle a little bit of turmeric on the body.
8. Put a bit of turmeric inside the fish to prevent the fish from having a not a fresh smell when you eat it.
9. Put a couple of gingers on top of the fish and inside too.
(Note: Putting ginger inside the finish can prevent the fish from having a fresh smell when you eat it.)
10. Put some cooking wine inside the fish.
11. Put some oil on top of the fish to look nice.

Direction cooking:
1. Take a steamer pot out and boil some water with a rack inside.
2. Once the water is boiling, put the plate of fish inside the steamer and close the lid.
3. Cook the fish for about 10-12 minutes.
(Note: A large fish, steam for 12 minutes. Small fish steam for 8-10 minutes (it all depends on the size of the fish).
4. Once the fish is ready, use a knife and put it in the middle. When you feel the knife touching the bone. Then you know if it’s ready.
5. When the fish is ready. Use a kitchen mitten and take the redfish and place it on the table.
6. Enjoy this wonderful steam fish.

Yu Choy

8. Just wait for it to boil up. Once the water is boiling up, open the lid and keep the lid off.
(Note: Keeping the cover off will prevent the vegetable from being not having a good colour.)
9. When the yu choy is boiling again. Leave it on the water for two more minutes. 
(Note: Do not cook the yu choy too long, it will not stay greenly.)
12. Once it’s ready, turn off the heat and place all the yu choy on a plate and place it on the table.
13. Enjoy.

Mackerel with limes, parsley, onions, and top with cilantro

This is a stew of mackerel with lime, parsley, onions, and top with cilantro. It is so simple to make, and it does not take long. I decided to use a can of mackerel in water to make a stew dish. Once you get the hand of making this stew dish, you can make any kind of stew food. It is very delicious, and I like it a lot. By making this dish, you can have more flavor and taste better.
The dish came out very colourful after stewing in a pan. The best combination that goes well with this dish would be with rice because with all the sauce, you can mix it in with the rice. It does not contain any bones in the fish since it is coming from a can.

Preparation:
1. Use a knife and peel the onions and 2 garlic’s skins. Cut the garlic’s into pieces. Cut onions in
half. Place it on the side and cut into slices. Put all in a bowl and set it aside.
2. In the cupboard, take out 2 cans of Mackerel in water. Rinse the top and wipe with a cloth.
3. Use a can opener and open 2 cans of mackerel in water. Remove the lids.
4. Take a spoon and remove all the oil from the can. Set it aside.Take a lime out of the fridge.
5. Use a peeler knife and peel the lime skins.
6. Cut 2-3 pieces of lime into slices. Put all in a bowl and set it aside.
7. Take some parsley out of the fridge. Wash the parsley and cut into small pieces.
8. Take some cilantro out of the fridge. Wash the cilantro and cut into small pieces.

Cooking process:
1. In the cupboard, take out a fry pan.
2. Turn on the head to high.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil in it.
4. Put in the onions and garlic and stir until it is almost ready.
5. Pour in the 2 cans of mackerel in water into the pan.
6. Put in 3-4 pieces of lime slices and cut small pieces of parsley.
7. Let it cook itself for a bit.
8. Sprinkle a lot of garlic powder, ginger powder, sesame oil and turmeric on the fish to take the not good smell away from the fish.
9. Let the mackerel in water cook for a bit.
10. Sprinkle some cilantro on the top.
11. Close the lid and wait until the bottom liquid starts to boil.
12. Once boiling, open the lid and turn off the heat.

Stir fry lotus root with Chinese mushrooms and onions

These lotus roots with Chinese mushroom and onions are very simple to make, and it does not take long. You can prepare the Chinese mushroom with an instant pot the night before in a fast and easy way. You can find the lotus roots and Chinese mushroom at a Chinese supermarket. At the bottom I have the recipe how to make this dish.
The dish looks so nice and colourful stir frying from the pan. It is so delicious, and I like it a lot. The lotus is a bit crunchy in texture. It can be used for steam, Chinese soups and stir-fries.
Kids and adults would love this dish a lot. If you are a vegetarian, then this is the dish you can make. You can have this for lunch or dinner. The best combination that goes well with this dish is rice or noodles. I prefer with rice with the sauce and the lotus and Chinese much room that matches very well. If you cannot finish it, you can put it in the fridge and have it the next day. Try the recipe and enjoy.

Direction:
Cooking Chinese mushrooms from an instant pot:
1. Take the Chinese mushroom out of the bag.
2. Rinse the Chinese mushrooms.
3. Put the Chinese mushrooms into a bowl and soak it over water for 30 minutes.
4. Take out instant pot. Put some water. Take the bowl of Chinese mushroom and put it in
the instant pot.
5. Close the lid. Press the manual button, and it will start automatic
6. When done. It will release the pressure of the value.
(Note:Don’t open the lid of the pressure cooker, while it’s releasing the pressure or else it will explode.)
7. Once done and the gray thing drops to the bottom, that means it is ready.
8. Take out the Chinese mushroom and put it in a bowl.
9. Rise with cold water until it is completely cold.
10. Take as many as you need to stir fry.
11. Take the rest of the Chinese mushrooms, put it in a zip log bag or a frozen bag and put it in the freezer. to use next time.

Preparation:
1.Take lotus roots, and wash the lotus roots.
2. Take a knife peeler and peel the lotus roots skin.
(Note: Make sure all the potatoes are peeled nice and clean.)
3. Wash the lotus roots.
4. Take a slice cutter, put the knife into the slice cutter. Slice the lotus roots into thin slices directly into a bowl.
5. Peel the onion skin and place it on the cutting board. Cut the onion in half and cut into slices.
6. Take 3 garlics and peel the garlic’s skins and cut into pieces.
7. Put the Chinese mushroom in a strainer and rinse it and set it aside.

Cooking process:

1. In the cupboard, take out a pan and put it on the stove.
2. Turn on the heat high.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil in it.
4. Put the garlic and onions in the pan.
5. Stir the garlic and onions until almost ready.
6. Put the Chinese mushroom into the pan.
7. Stir the Chinese mushroom 2-3 times.
8. Sprinkle some salt and garlic powder, then add some light soya sauce, but not too much.
9. Stir a bit to mix the sauce.
10. Put the lotus roots into the pan. Use a tong and separate them apart. Stir all together.
11. Let the Chinese mushroom and lotus roots cook in the pan itself for a few seconds.
(Note: keep an eye on it to make sure it does not stick to the pan.)
12. Stir again.
13. Pour some water and close the lid.
14. Once you see the water is boiling, stir 2 times. Then turn the heat off.
15. Take a plate and scoop up all the lotus root with Chinese mushroom and onions. Place it on the table.
16. Now it is ready to eat.
