Preparing the cauliflower: 1. Take the cauliflower out of the fridge. remove from package. 2. Rinse the cauliflower 3. Place the cauliflower on the cutting board and cut it in half. 4. Separate the cauliflower and place it directly into the bowl. 5. When you see big pieces of cauliflower, cut the cauliflower into pieces. 6. When it’s all done separating , rinse the cauliflower. 7. Set the bowl of cauliflower aside.
Boiling the cauliflower: 1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan. 2. Place it on the stove. 3. Pour some cold water into the large pan. 4. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid. 5. Wait for about 10 minutes or until the water is boiling 6. When the water is boiling, add the cauliflower into the large pan and cover the lid. 7. Wait for the cauliflower to boil up again. 8. Let it continue boiling for 6 mintues 9. Open the lid. Take a knife or a long tooth pick. Insert it into the cauliflower. If you feel knife or toothpick goes through the cauliflower and they are tender that means, it is ready. 10. Turn off the heat. 11. place it on a plate and set it aside.
It is stir-fried cauliflower with chopped red peppers and garlic. I decided to use cauliflower with red peppers and garlic to stir-fry a dish. This is the second time I made a cauliflower dish. Carefully hit the knife on the garlic to separate the skin. 4. Repeat the same steps for the rest of the garlic. (Note: Be careful not to get cut with the knife.) 5. When done, set it aside.
Preparing red peppers: 1. In the fridge, take out package of small peppers. 2. Take a red pepper and rinse it. Wipe it clean. 3. Cut off both ends. 4. Place the red pepper on the cutting board and cut into small pieces. 5. Place it onto a bowl and set it aside. Cooking process: 1. Take out a large pan and place it on the stove. 2. Turn the heat to high. 3. When the pan is hot, put some oil. 4. Put garlic’s and chopped red peppers into the large pan and stir until done. 5. Take the red peppers out of the large pan and place it onto a small plate. 6. Pour the cauliflower into the large pan and stir a bit. 7. Pour a bit of water into the large pan. Close the lid. 8. When water starts boiling, open the lid. Put a bit of salt, garlic powder and light soya sauce. Stir to mix. 9. Close the lid and let it cook for a 2-3 minutes. 10. Taste a piece of cauliflower and taste if it is the desired texture. (Note: Do not overcook the cauliflower, or it will not taste good.) 11. When the texture is right. Pour int he red peppers. Stir a bit. Let it cook for a bit to ensure it is properly cooked. 12. Once done, scoop it onto a plate and place it on the table. 13. Enjoy.
