This is the 11th time I have made steamed tofu topped with onions and ginger. It is the easiest recipe to make and not too hard. It does not take long. Most supermarkets sell tofu. Most of the time I get tofu at a Chinese supermarket. It comes in all different kinds of tofu texture. I decided to use firm tofu. Firm tofu are easier to cut. Using soft or medium tofu can break easily when you cut it too hard.
This is the healthiest dish you can make. Steaming tofu is healthier. The tofu is very tasty. I like this dish a lot. I decided add some onions and ginger on the top of the tofu to look nice and colourful.

Preparing the onions and ginger:
1. Take an onions. Peel the skin
2. Cut the onion in half.
3. Take a slice cutter and slice a couple of onions directly into a bowl.
4. Take a ginger,
5. Take a slice cutter and slice a couple of onions directly into a bowl.
6. Set the bowl aside.

Preparing the tofu:
1. Take 1 pack of Tofu out of the fridge.
2. Open package and drain all the water from the package in the sink.
3. Raise all the tofu and put it on to a steamer plate.
4. Use a knife and slowly cut the tofu into thick square pieces.
5. Repeat the steps for all of them.
6. Marinate with some salt, garlic powder, soya sauce and some flour.
(Note: To coat the tofu with flour on both sides will have less liquid coming out from the tofu.)
7. Place the tofu slanted around the plate and some in the middle and on top.
(Note: If you have leftover tofu and have no space, you can put it on top of the tofu.
9. Put a couple of slices of onions on top of the tofu.
10. Sprinkle some ginger on the top of the tofu.
9. Once all done, set the plate of tofu aside.

Steaming the tofu:
1. Take a large pan out of the cupboard and fill it up with hot water and turn the heat to high.
2. Put a wire rack on the pan.
3. Wait until the water starts to boil. When the water is boiling up. Put in the plate of tofu.
4. Steam the tofu for 10 minutes.
5. When it is ready, take it out with a holder steamer and place it on the table.
6. Enjoy.

Pampano fish topped with onions, green onions and coriander

This is the 17th time I made steamed pampano fish topped with green onions and corinader. The pampano fish smells so good when it comes out of the steamer. It is fresh and from a frozen package. You can buy pampano fish at a Chinese supermarket.
To be marinated the fish I put turmeric, soya sauce, garlic powder, garlic and onions outside and inside. If your pampano does not have a fresh smell then put some Chinese cooking wine inside. It will make the fish taste better. If the pamapno is fresh, you do not need to put any cooking wine in it. The Chinese cooking wine can be bought at a Chinese supermarket. Steaming fish is very healthier.
To steam a pampano fish, you have to take a portable steamer or a large pan. Pour some water and boil on high heat. Close the lid. When the water starts boiling, put the pampano into the steamer. I steam the fish for 8 minutes. If it;s a large pampano fish, it needs to be steam for 12 minutes. You can steam it for 1-2 extra minutes to ensure it is properly cooked. To know if the fish is ready. Take a knife and insert it in the middle. If you feel the bone, that means it’s ready. If not, you need to cook it a bit longer. When it is done, be careful taking the plate of steam fish out of the steamer. It is very hot.
When eating the fish, there are bones. Be careful eating it. The meats inside are very awesome and tasty. I like it a lot. You can defrost the frozen pampano fish the night before in the fridge. Pampano is one of my favorite fish.
When eating fish, it is best to go with rice. Make sure there are no bones before mixing it into the rice. It is best to eat the whole fish on the same day once it is steam, to get the freshness of the fish. Once you eat this steam pampano fish, you will like it a lot. Direction Cleaning:
1. Take the frozen Pampano out of the freezer.
2. Take a bowl of hot water and soak the frozen pampano fish in the bowl, to unfrozen it for about 4-5 minutes.
3. Put a pair of dishwasher gloves.
4. Take it out of the bowl.
5. Open the bag with scissors and take the fish out of the bag.
6. Wash the fish
7. Take a knife and fish. At an angle of the knife, scrape off the scales everywhere on the fish. This fish does not have a 8. lot of scales to scrape off. Compare to other fishes. If the fish have a not fresh smell. Put some salt on both sides of the body and inside too!
(Note: putting salt can take the non-fresh smell away.)
9. Take scissors and cut off the mouth guard. Cut a straight line on the stomach almost to the middle
10. Take out all the disgusting intestine, the red guts and also the mouth guard out of the fish.
11. When it is all clean. Rinse inside and make sure there is no dirty thing inside.
12. When done. Rinse the fish again and put it on a plastic bowl to get all the water out.

Preparing the onions and ginger:
1. Take an onion. Use a knife peeler and peel the onion skin.
2. Place it on the cutting board. Cut each onion in half. Put it on the side and cut it into slices.
3. Take ginger. Use a slice cutter and slice the ginger into strips of pieces
4. Place them into a bowl and set it aside.

Marinating the fish:
1. put the fish on the plate.
2. sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour some soya sauce and turmeric on the body
3. Repeat the same steps on the other side of the fish.
4. Inside the fish, sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour some soya sauce, turmeric and Chinese cooking wine.
5. Spread some onions on top of the fish, inside and some at the bottom of the plate.
6. In the bowl, take some sliced ginger strips and spread them on top of the fish. Then put some inside the fish.
(Note: Marinating inside the fish and putting ginger and onions can take the non-fresh smell out of the fish.)

Steaming the pampano fish:
1. In the cupboard, Take a large pan and place it on the stove.
2. Put some water, the amount you need to steam the fish.
3. Put a steamer tray. Close the lid.
4. Once the water starts boiling, put the fish inside the steamer tray.
5. Take a couple of green beans and wash it. Then place it around the steamer. Close the lid.
6. Cook the fish for about 12-15 minutes.
( Note: A small size fish cooking time takes 10 minutes.)
7. Once the fish is ready. Use a knife and stick it in the middle to see if it touches the bone. Then you know it’s ready. If not, you need to cook a bit longer.
8. Once it is ready. Turn of the heat.
9. In the fridge, take out some green onions and rinse it.
10. Chop up some green onion. Sprinkle some green onions on top of the fish.
11`. Use a plate clipper or kitchen mittens, take out the steam pampano fish and place it on the table.
12. Enjoy.

Milk-fed veal shoulder on the back (beef)

This is milk-fed veal shoulder on the back, beef and onions is very delicious and easy to make. I decided to cook four pieces of milk-fed veal shoulder on the back beef. Cooking more can have more to eat during the day.

6. Use a tong and place all the milk-fed shoulder on the back on to the frying pan.
7. Use the tong and twirl the beef around the pan on the heated area until it is a bit dark
8. Repeat the same thing.
9. Turn it to the other side and twirl around the pan.
(Note: Make sure all the beef are press flat to the pan.)
10. Fry pan each side until you do not see rare colour.
( Note: If you like the milk-fed veak should on the back beef to be well-done, you can cook it a bit long
oto be sure it will be well-done.)
13. Once it is cook to the right texture, turn off the heat and place it onto a plate.

Baked chicken tenderloin wrapped with bacon

This is the 2nd time I baked a chicken tenderloin wrapped with bacon. I decided to use two chicken tenderloins. I used the chicken tenderloin from the Giant Tiger brand. Looking at the chicken tenderloin wrapped with bacon makes me very hungry.
The oven has to be pre-heated before baking the chicken tenderloin. Pre-heating the oven can save time in baking too long. Prepared a baking tray with parchment paper. Bake as much as you need. I baked 2 pieces of chicken tenderloin. This time I added oil on the baking sheet and spread it around the top and bottom. Then added some flour. Make sure it is coated everywhere. Put it in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes, flip the chicken tenderloin over and bake till the end of the timing. Leave it in the oven until you are ready to eat. Leaving it in the oven will keep it warm, and it will not get cold.

1. Preheat oven at 350F (190 degrees)
2. Take the frozen chicken tenderloin out of the freezer.
3. Open the package and take as many chicken tenderloin as needed to eat.
4. Take a baking tray. Put some parchment paper.
5. Put the frozen chicken tenderloin onto a baking tray,
6. Marinate some oil and flour on both side of the chicken tenderloin.
6. When the oven is very hot, open the oven and put the baking tray into the oven.
7. Bake the Chicken tenderloin for 30 minutes.
8. Every 10 minutes. Flip the chicken tenderloin over.
9. Bake the chicken tenderloin until the oven finishes baking.
10. Once finished. Take out the tray of chicken tenderloin. Place whole whole pieces on to a glass bowl.
11. Place 2 chicken tenderloin onto a cutting board and cut into pieces.
12. Put the chicken tenderloin pieces around the glass bowl.
13. Enjoy.

Eggplants topped with onions ginger and parsley

This is the 4th time I have steamed eggplant. It is very simple to make, and it does not take long.
I decided to cut the eggplants in half into 3 equal parts. Then cut it into a kind of a rectangle shape.
Marinating eggplants, I put salt, garlic powder, soya sauce, and flour. For each marinating, I toss the bowl to mix. This time I made a little change, I did not put any breadcrumbs I decided to put some onions, ginger and Italian parsley on top of the eggplants to look nice and taste better.
To make the plate of eggplants, I just pour all the eggplants on the steaming plate, easy and simple. Steam the eggplants for 10 minutes. The time it takes to boil the water and steam it. The eggplants came out beautiful from the steamer. It is very delicious, and I like it a lot.
Kids and adults would love this steam eggplants a lot. The best combination with this dish is rice. You can mix the eggplants in the rice. 4. Pour in some flour and toss the bowl to mix. Continue adding flour and toss the bowl until everywhere is coated and mix.
5. In the cupboard, take out breadcrumbs. Use a spoon a scoop up some breadcrumbs, put it into the bowl of eggplants. Toss to mix. Continue adding breadcrumbs, and toss the bowl until everywhere is coated and mix.
6. When all done, set it aside.

Preparing the onion and gingers
1. In the bag, take an onion. Use a knife and peel the skins.
2. Place it on the cutting board.
3. Cut it in half. Place it on the side and cut it into slices and into small pieces.
4. Put the onions in a bowl and set them aside.
5. Take ginger. Use a spoon and peel the skin.
6. Take a slice cutter and slice the ginger into strip pieces.
7. Put the gingers in a bowl and set them aside.
8. Take some Italian Parsley and wash it very clean.
9. Put it on the cutting board and cut it into pieces.

Making the plate of eggplants for steaming:
1. In the cupboard. Take a clean plate for steaming.
2. Take the bowl of marinated eggplants and pour it into the plate.
3. Put some pieces of onions and strips of ginger on top of plant of eggplant.
4. Sprinkle some Italian parsley on the top.
4. When done, set it aside.

2. Put in some water and turn on the heat to high.
3. Place a steamer tray on the steamer and close the lid.
4. Once the water is boiling, open the lid. Use a plate clipper or kitchen mittens and put the plate of eggplants into the steamer tray.
5. Steam the eggplants for 10 minutes. The time it takes to boil the water and to steam it.
6. When the time is ready, Take a knife or a fork and insert it into the eggplants. If it goes through, that means it is ready. If not, cook it a bit longer.
7. Once it is ready, turn off the heat.
8. Take a plate clipper or kitchen mittens and take out the plate of steamed eggplants from the steam tray and place it on the table.

Pan-fried pangasius fillet topped with onions and green onions

This frozen This frozen pangasius fillet is very delicious and tasty. There are many different ways of cooking the blue cod fillet. 1. In the cupboard, take out the non-stick frying pan and place it on the stove.
2. Turn the heat to medium-low
3. When the pan is hot, put in some oil.
4. Use a tong and put all the pangasius fillet into the frying pan
(Note: If the pangasius fillet does not have enough space to fit in the pan, Just cut it in half and place it in the pan.)
5. Let it cook by itself on one side for 6-7 minutes.
6. Turn the pangasius fillet over and cook it for 6-7 minutes.
7. Sprinkle some green onions on the top of the pangasius fillet.
7. If you feel the pangasius fillet well cooked then, that means it is ready.
If it’s not, you need to cook it a bit longer.)

Boiled cauliflower

Cauliflower is a vegetable that is naturally high in fiber and B-vitamins. It provides protection against cancer. It also contains fiber to enhance weight loss and digestion, that is essential for learning and memory, and many other important nutrients.
These cauliflower are very delicious and easy to make. I decided to boil the cauliflower because it is fast to boiling then stir-frying. When buying cauliflower at a supermarket, sometimes they are individually wrapped, or you need to pick it yourself and put it in a plastic bag. Cauliflower is a healthy vegetable. Good for the eyes and body.
Boiling cauliflower, they cook fast. To know if they are ready and tender by inserting a knife. If it goes through, that means it is ready. 1. Take the cauliflower out of the fridge. remove from package.
2. Rinse the cauliflower
3. Place the cauliflower on the cutting board and cut it in half.

5. When you see big pieces of cauliflower, cut the cauliflower into pieces.
6. When it’s all done separating , rinse the cauliflower.
7. Set the bowl of cauliflower aside.

Boiling the cauliflower:
1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan.
2. Place it on the stove.
3. Pour some cold water into the large pan.
4. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid.
5. Wait for about 10 minutes or until the water is boiling
6. When the water is boiling, add the cauliflower into the large pan and cover the lid.
7. Wait for the cauliflower to boil up again.
8. Let it continue boiling for 6 mintues
9. Open the lid. Take a knife or a long tooth pick. Insert it into the cauliflower. If you feel
knife or toothpick goes through the cauliflower and they are tender that means, it is ready.
10. Turn off the heat.
11. place it on a plate and set it aside.

Whole chicken

This is the 4th time I made a steamed whole chicken. It’s very delicious and simple to make. I bought a big whole chicken. Cleaning the chicken is very simple.
All you need to do is open the package. Take one whole chicken. Rinse the chicken. Open up the inside and take all the dirty stuff out. Make sure it is very clean inside. Put salt and Chinese cooking wine all around the chicken. Rub it all around the chicken. Then let it sit for 5-10 minutes to get the chicken smell away. Then rinse the chicken. Place it in a bowl to drain the water out.
If you like, you can marinate the chicken with some salt and cooking wine. You can also put some onions and gingers on top of the chicken. It is optional. I prefer marinating it and putting onions and ginger on the top.
To steam the whole chicken, take a large pan. Put in some water. Place a wire rack and close the lid. When the water starts boiling, place the chicken into the steamer. It needs to be steam for 30 minutes. When done, check and see if there is still some blood, redness or pink. If there is, then cook it a bit longer. Make sure not to over cook the chicken, or it will become tough. If you still see some pieces are red, not well-done, then you can put it in the microwave to heat it up. Different microwave heating time can be different. Look at how beautiful the chicken came out of the steamer.
To cut the whole chicken into pieces, put some plastic kitchen gloves on, and cut the chicken into pieces using scissors and place it in a large plate. If you do not want to cut the whole chicken into pieces all at once, you can cut the chicken piece that you want to eat. Chicken is one of my favorite food. The chicken came out of the steamer perfectly.

8. Put some some salt all around the chicken and some chicken cooking wine.
9. rub it all around, so it would not stink. Wait for 5-10 minutes.
10. Rinse the chicken again.
11. put the chicken in a plastic bowl to let the water out.

Direction Cooking:
1. Put the chicken on a plate.
2. Take a large pan and put it on the stove.
3. Put some cold water.
4. Place a wire rack in the large pan.
5. Close the lid and turn the heat to high.
6. When the water starts boiling, put the plate of whole chicken into the large pan.
7. Close the lid.
8. Cook the chicken for 30 min
9. Do not overcook the chicken or else it will get old
10. When it is done. Take it out and place it on the table.
11. If You like you can cut the whole chicken into pieces and put it onto a plate
11. If you see the chicken still have some redness or pink that is not well done, you
can heat it in the microwave.
(Note: Heating up the chicken depends on your microwave wattage. The heating time can be
different.)
12. Now the chicken is ready.

Stir-fried shanghai bok choy with onions

A stir-fried Shanghai bok choy, when it is put into a large pan, you can hear the sizzling sound. It smells so good. It makes you feel hungry. I put some onions and ginger to stir-fry the Shanghai bok choy. A Shanghai bok choy can be bought at a Chinese supermarket.
When washing Shanghai bok choy, you need to cut off the end hard part and separate it apart. Wash 3-4 times to ensure proper clean without any dirt. When the water is clear, it means that the Shanghai bok choy is clean. When cooking the Shanghai bok choy, you can cook it to the desire of your texture. Some people might like it crunchy and others might like it tender. Putting seasoning is your preference. Putting water to cook the Shanghai bok choy can have a better texture and easier to eat. Washing process:
1. Take the package of Shanghai bok choy and set it aside.
2. In the cupboard, take out a strainer and a big container to wash the shanghai bok choy.
3. Place the large container in the sink. Take the strainer, and place it on the other sink or on the counter with a container to hold the strainer from the water dripping everywhere.
4. Take the shanghai bok choy out of the package and place it in the big container.
5. Separate each shanghai bok choy pieces apart.
6. Cut the end part.
7. Open the cold water and fill it up. While washing, shake each piece in the water to take the dirty stuff out and rinse it with tap water.
(Note: Make sure all the dirty stuff is out and each vegetable is clean.)
8. Each timepiece of shanghai bok choy is wash, place in the strainer.

5. Place the ginger on a cutting board.
6. Cut the ginger into pieces and place it in a bowl and set it aside.

Cooking Direction:
1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan and place it on the stove.
2. Turn on the heat to high.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil.
4. Put the onions and garlic in the pan.
5. Use a wooden cooking spatula and stir the garlic, and onions until done.
6. Put in the Shanghai bok choy in the pan. You will hear a sizzling sound.

11. Take a piece and taste if it’s a bit crunchy or tender. If it’s the right texture, that means it is ready. If not, needs to cook it a bit longer.
12. When the Shanghai bok choy is ready, turn off the heat. Take a plate and put all the Shangai bok choy and place it on the table.
