Penne pasta with Pergo sauce, broccoli, radish , cucumber, beets and ham.

This is a penne pasta. They look like a cylinder and have a cut angle on both ends. I’ve never made this kind of pasta before. It will be my first time.
Cooking this penne pasta is the same thing as cooking spaghetti pasta until they are tender. Cooking pasta to tender will be easier to eat.
If you decided to eat the penne pasta right away. Before rinsing them in cold water. Make sure you have pasta sauce hot and ready to eat. Once the penne pasta is rinsed in cold water, you will need to heat them in the microwave. Rinsing the pasta in cold water will loosen up the pasta and easier to handle.
Before you rinse the broccoli, you can peel off the hard strip parts at the bottom of the stem to prevent the broccoli from being crunchy. If you like it crunchy, you can keep it the way it is. If you remove the stem strip parts, you will need to cook them to tender. I boiled some broccoli from a large pan. Broccoli cooks fast. It needs to be kept an eye on it. Overcooking them too long will become yellow. To know, if the broccoli are ready. Insert a knife and if it goes through that means it is ready.
The beets are put in a bowl and soaked over water. I heated up in the microwave 6-7 minutes. Take it out and use a fork to test and see if it goes through and tender. Once it goes through and tender, that means it is ready. If it’s still hard, it needs to be microwaved some more.
When the beets are ready. I pour out the water into the sink. I peeled all the beets skins and cut them into pieces. I put it all onto a plate and set it aside.
The cucumber, I decide to use half. I peeled off the skin with a knife peeler a bit. Doing this step will make the cucumber less crunchy and easier to eat. Then I cut it into pieces.
The radish, when bought at a store, comes in a bunch. I cut off the leaves and save them to make a soup. I took a radish and slice it into pieces using a slice cutter directly onto a plate.
To make the plate, I put some Penne pasta. I used the ready-made pasta sauce jar called Pergo. I put some onto the pasta and heated it up in the microwave. When it is ready. I take it out and use a fork to mix the sauce and pasta. On the side, I put some broccoli, cucumber and radish and 2 pieces of baloney and place it nicely on the plate. The plate will look colourful and have more variety of food to eat. If you don’t like baloney and the vegetable I have on the plate. You can put ham or other kinds of vegetables of your choice.

Direction:

Penne pasta cooking:
1. In a cupboard, take out a large pan. Fill up the pan with cold water.
2. Turn on the stove to high heat.
3. Sprinkle a bit of salt in the water and stir to mix.
4. Put the lid on the large pan, and wait until the water starts boiling,
5. Once the water starts boiling, pour the penne pasta into the pan stir.
6. Close the lid and wait until the penne pasta starts boiling.
7. When the pasta starts boiling again.
8. Once starts boiling, stir it a few times so that it will not stick. Turn the heat to
medium.
9. Close the lid and cook it for another 5 min or until boiled with bubbles.
10. When it’s boiling with bubbles, open the lid and take a piece of pasta out and taste to see if it is tender.
11. If the Pasta is not tender, let it cook for a bit longer until you taste penne pasta tender.
12. When the pasta is cooked to tender texture. Take a strainer and put it in the sink and pour the pasta into the strainer.
13. Rinse the pasta for 2-3 min with cold water.
14. Put some cold water in the pan and pour the penne pasta back into the large pan. Pour it back in the strainer to loosen the penne pasta. This way will be easier to take out the penne pasta.

Preparation of the broccoli:
1. In the fridge, take out broccoli and remove it from the bag.
2. Rinse the broccoli’s
3. Place the broccoli’s on the cutting board and cut it in half.
4. Separate the broccoli’s and place it directly into the sink.
5. Cut the end stem of the hard part strips off the broccoli’s to prevent the broccoli from being crunchy.
(Note: If you like it crunchy and hard, you can leave it the way it is.)
6. When you see big pieces of broccoli’s, cut the broccoli into broccoli pieces.
7. When it’s done separating, rinse the broccoli’s and set them aside.

Cooking the broccoli:
1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan. Place it on the stove.
2. Pour some cold water into the large pan. If there is not enough water, you can add more.
(Note: Add just the right amount of water that you need to boil the broccoli.)
3. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid.
4. Wait until the water is boiling starts to boil.
5. When the water is boiling, put the broccoli’s into the large pan and cover the lid.
6. Wait until it boils again.
7. Once it is boiling, let it cook in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
8. Open the lid. Take a knife or a long toothpick. Put it into the broccoli. If you feel the broccoli is tender, that means it is ready. If it’s not, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
9. Turn off the heat.
10. Place it on a plate and place it on the table.

Preparing the cucumber and radish:

1. In the fridge, take out a cucumber.
3. Open the wrapper.
4. Cut the cucumber in half. Rinse the cucumber.
5. Wrap the other half and put it in the fridge.
6. Use a knife peeler and peel a bit on the skin all around.
7. Place it on the cucumber on the cutting board and cut it into round pieces.
8. Put the cucumber onto a plate and place them on the table.
5. In the fridge, take out a bunch of radishes.
6. Rinse the radish.
7. Cut off the leaves and place them in a plastic bag.
(Note: The radish leaves can be kept to make a soup.)
8. Use a slice cutter and cut the radish into pieces directly into a plate.
9. Place it on the table.

Making the beets in the microwave:
1. In a bag, take out 4-5 pieces of beets.
2. Place it in a bowl and soak it over water.
3. Place it in the microwave and heat for 7-8 minutes
(Note: Different microwave heating time can vary.)
4. When it is done. Take it the beets.
5. Use a fork and poke inside to see if it’s tender. Once it is tender,
that means it is ready. If it not then it need to be microwave a bit longer.
6. When the beets are tender. Pour out the water into the sink.
7. Let the beets cool down a bit.
8. Peel all beets skin.
9. Place the beets onto a cutting board and cut into pieces.
10. Put all the beets onto a plate and place it on the table.

Making the ham or baloney:

1. Take a package of ham or baloney.
2. Open the package.
3. Take out as much ham or baloney onto a plate.
4. Put it in the microwave and heat it up for a few seconds.
5. When it is ready, take it out and place them on the table.

Making the plate of pasta with vegetable and baloney:
1. In the cupboard, take out a plate.
2. Put as much penne pasta that you will eat onto a plate.
3. Take a jar of Pergo pasta sauce and scoop as much
as you want to eat on the penne pasta.
4. Place the plate of spaghetti in the microwave and heat it for 3 minutes.
(Note: Heating a plate of pasta depends on the wattage of your microwave.)
5. When the pasta is ready, take it out of the microwave and place it on the table.
6. On the side of the plate, put some broccoli, cucumber, radish, beets and baloney.
7. Now you have a beautiful plate of penne pasta with pergo sauce with some vegetables and baloney.

Boiled chicken legs (using an old rice cooker with a congee function)

Boiled chicken legs are so simple to make, and it does not take long. I decided to use an old style rice cooker with a congee fuction to cook the chicken legs. I did not marinate anything. I just put it in the boiling water and boil the chicken legs.
All you need to do is wash and clean the chicken legs. Take off all the dirty stuff off the chicken until it is clean. Fill the slow cooker with water. Put some ginger and onions into the slow cooker. Place the chicken legs into the rice cooker with a congee function. Turn on to low heat and cook for 7 minutes or until the steam comes out. Then turn to low heat. Cook for another 25 minutes. Use scissors and cut a piece of it to check if it’s all well-done. If you see no blood or pink showing, that means it is ready.
Kids and adults would love these boiled chicken legs. It’s healthy and very delicious. I like it a lot. You can have these chicken for lunch or dinner. The best combination that goes well with this dish is rice or noodles. Another way of eating the chicken leg is cutting off all the meat and make a chicken salad. It is very healthy and delicious. Cleaning the chicken legs:
1. Put on a pair of dishwasher gloves.
2. Take the chicken out of the package.
3. Wash the chicken.
4. Take scissors and cut some fat skins off the chicken legs.
5. Cut off the end part of the bone.
6. Take all the dirty stuff out of the chicken.
7. Rinse the chicken.
8. If you still see dirty, clean it some more.
9. Put some salt all around the chicken.
10. Rub it all around, so it would not stink.
11. Rinse the chicken again.
12. Put the chicken in a mixing bowl to let the water out.
13. If you already have chicken legs in the freezer, take out the frozen chicken legs and put it in the microwave to defrost.
(Note: Different microwave wattage and defrost time can be different.)

Preparation:

1. Take a ginger. Peel the skins.
2. Cut 7-8 pieces of ginger into slices.
3. In the bag, take onions and peel the skins.
4. Place the onion on a cutting board. Put it on the side and cut into round pieces.

Cooking process:
1. Take out a rice cooker that has a congee function. Plug in the plug
2. Fill the rice cooker with water. The amount you need to cook the chicken legs.
3. Put 6 pieces of sliced ginger into the rice cooker.
4. Put on the dishwasher gloves.
5. Rinse the 3 chicken legs.
6. Put it into the slow cooker.
7. Put some onions into the slow cooker.
8. Turn on to rice cooker. Cook for 7 minutes or until the slow cooker steam starts to come out.
9. When the slow cooker starts to have steam coming out, turn it to slow cook.
10. Cook for another 25 minutes.
(Note: Do not over cook the chicken, or it will become tough.)
11. When 25 minutes are ready. Take a piece of chicken out of the slow cooker. Use a pair of scissors and cut to check if there is any blood or pink inside. If it’s not ready, that means you need to cook it a bit longer.
12. Once ready. Use a tong and take out all the chicken legs and place it on a plate and set it on the table.
13. Enjoy.

homemade waffles

This is homemade waffles are delicious and simple to make. When you make the waffles, you will know they will be tasty and better than bought at a supermarket.
I used a crepe recipe to make the waffles in a waffle machine mould. There are many different waffle machines. The one I use has 2 sided pieces of waffles that you can make.
The ingredients I use for these waffles are simple. Here are the ingredients. 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 eggs,1/2 cup milk,1/2 cup of water,1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons oil,1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and some oil for the brush waffle machine.
I mixed the eggs and flour until they mixed well. Then I added the milk and water. Mix it all together. I put in olive oil instead of butter because it is healthier. I also added vanilla extract. I mixed until a smooth batter until there are no lumps. If You like, you can cover the batter and let it sit for 2 minutes. To ensure the batter has no lumps.
Scoop the batter and pour some into the waffle machine. Close the lid and let it cook. The waffle machine I have will indicate when the waffles are done. Keep an eye on the waffles to ensure it does not get burnt. When ready, place it onto a plate.
Kids and adults would loves these waffles a lot. You can have these for breakfast or snack. Making homemade waffles is very fun.
You can put some fruits, jam or maple syrup on the top. I like to put some maple syrup with some fruits on the side. It will look nice, like a breakfast meal.
You can also freeze the waffles in the freezer if you can not finish all of them. When you want to eat it, take it out and put it in the oven to heat it. it will be a bit crispy and delicious. Once you eat homemade waffles, you like them a lot. Try making homemade waffles and enjoy.

Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup of water
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
some oil for the brush waffle machine

Direction:

preparing the batter:
1. In a cupboard take a large mixing bowl. Add 1 cup all purpose flour and 2 eggs.
Use a whisk and mix everything together well. 2. Pour in 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of water, mix everything to combine.
3. Add in 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoon of oil and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract beat
until a smooth batter texture.
4. If you like, you can let it sit for 2-3 minutes to make sure there are no lumps and it is a
smooth batter.

preparing the waffle machine:
1. Take a waffle machine out of the box.
2. Use a clean wet cloth and wipe inside. Wait for a bit to dry.
3. Once it is dry. Plug the machine. Wait until the machine is hot.

Cooking waffles direction:
1. brush some oil on inside the waffle mold
2. Take the waffle batter mixture. Use a soup scooper and scoop up some batter and pour in
the 2 waffle molds evenly. Make sure no batter is licking out. Close the machine.
cook the waffles for 3-4 minutes. Make sure not to overcook the waffles or it will be burn.
(note: Each waffle machine mold are different with just 1,2 or 4.)
3. When you see steam coming out open the lid and check to see if it is ready.
4. When you see it is big and golden brown without any burn on both sides that is how you will
know it is ready.
5. For each waffles, that is finish place it on a wire rack over the plate.
6. Repeat the same thing for the rest of waffles
7. Once all the waffles are finish cooking, unplug the machine.
8. Now you can eat.

Zucchini with small red peppers, onions and garlic

Zucchini helps reduce the swelling around the eyes. Vitamin A helps inactive cell development in the eyes, which enhances vision and helps in preventing age-related medical conditions such as macular degeneration.
A stir-fried zucchini with small red peppers, garlic and onions are simple to make. This is a vegetarian dish and does not contain any meat. It is very healthy. Eating vegetables is good for the eyes. I like this dish a lot. It is one of my favourite vegetables.
I decided to use three zucchini to make a vegetarian dish. These zucchini are bought from a Chinese supermarket. They were wrapped in a package. In most supermarkets, you can find zucchini where you can pick them individually of the piece that you like.
To make this dish, I used a knife peeler mold to peel the skin, but not too much. I also slice some zucchini into strips of pieces. I place the knife at an angle. While in each turn, cut it into pieces directly into a mixing bowl.
I cook the zucchini, garlic, small red peppers and onions in a large pan. I added a bit of water. Closing the lid can help the cooking process a bit faster. Let it cook until the water starts boiling. Take a piece and taste it to see if it’s your desired texture. Some people might like it hard, crunchy, or tender. Putting seasoning is your preference because some people might like it spicy and others might not. Once it is the right texture, it is ready. When it is ready. Turn off the heat, pour it onto a plate and place it on the table.

Preparation of the zucchini:
1. In the fridge, take 3 pieces of zucchini. If you feel that the zucchini is slippy, rinse with water and rub the zucchini with a cloth.

Preparing the onions, garlic and red small peppers:
1. In the bag, take a red onion and place it on the cutting board. Cut off the two ends
2. Peel the skins, and cut the onion in half. Place it on the side and cut it into slices.
3. Place the onions in a bowl and set them aside.
4. In the fridge, take the mix-bag of peppers.
5. Take a slice cutter and slice the peppers into pieces directly into a bowl.
6. The seeds that are leftover. Place it into a bowl.
7. Take a few garlics.
8. peel the garlic’s skins
9. Cut the garlic into pieces

Cooking the zucchini:
1. In the cupboard, take a large pan and put it on the stove.
2. Turn the heat to high.
3. When the pan is hot, put in some oil.
4. Put in the onions, garlic and small red peppers. Stir until done.
5. Take the bowl of zucchini, and pour it into the large pan.
6. Stir the zucchini a bit.
7. Sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour a bit of soya sauce.
8. Stir the zucchini a few times.
9. Pour in some water and close the lid.
(Note: Keep an eye on the zucchini because they can cook fast.)
10. When the water starts boiling, let it cook by itself for 1 minute.
11. Open the lid and stir a bit.
12. Take a piece of zucchini and taste if it’s a bit crunchy and tender.
13. When it is a bit crunchy and tender, that means it is ready. If not, you need to cook it a bit longer.
14. When the zucchini is tender, turn off the heat. Pour the zucchini on to a a glass bowl and place it on the table.
15. Enjoy.

Homemade small pizza

It is my third time making pizza. It is simple to make. I decided to use a bread machine to knead the dough because it is easier and does not require any hand strength. You can also use hand kneading or a stand mixer.
Using a bread machine, you need to set it at the dough. Take the bread pan out. Put all the liquid. Then the dry ingredients. Make a well and put in the yeast. Make sure it does not touch the salt or sugar. Snap the bread pan back into the machine.
Let the machine mix the dough by itself. It takes about 30 minutes to knead the dough. Make sure the dough stretches wide, and you see transparent. If it breaks, you will need to knead it a little bit more. When the dough is kneaded perfectly, take the dough out of the pan and place it onto a mixing bowl. Let it rise for 1 1/2- 2 hours until double size. Do not let the dough rise in the bread machine because it is hot inside and can make the dough have a hard piece at the bottom. It is best to take it out and let it rise.
Shape the dough in a pizza shape. Remember to poke holes on the dough before putting the topping, or there will be bubbles while baking. I decided to put ready make Pergo sauce jar with some pepperoni and broccoini cheese sliced into pieces and place it nicely on the top. You can put every topping of your liking.
Kids and adults will like this pizza a lot. You can decorate the pizza dough the way you desire. It will come out nice and tasty, and everyone will like it. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 450f for 12-14 minutes. If you like the crust to be crispy, you can bake it for 20 minutes. I recommend making a perfect pizza is to bake at 450F for 12-14 minutes. When almost done. If you feel the pizza is ready, that means done. If not then bake it a little bit more. Once done, take it out of the oven and place it onto a plate. You can cut the pizza with kitchen scissors or a pizza cutter. Once you eat this pizza, you will like it a lot. Ingredients:
500 gram of flour to make 2 pizza (one large and a medium) (note: You can add more flour to make a bigger pizza)
4-5 gram of instant yeast
1 teaspoon and a half of sugar
1 tsp of salt
30 gram of oil
300 gram of cold water
if you need more water you can add some by bit by bit at a time.

Direction:
Preparation:
1. use a scale and measure all your ingredients before starting and
set it aside.|

Kneading the dough by hand:

1. Use a clean bowl and add 500g of all purpose flour,  5g of instant yeast, 1 and a half teaspoon of sugar, 30g of oil and add in 300g of cold water

2. Use a spatula or a wooden spoon and stir in the middle to form a dough as much as you can.

3. If the dough is dry you can add a bit by bit cold water, until you do not feel any dryness when you mix.

4. Knead the dough with your hands in the bowl, until you form a ball and if it is sticky, you can add some flour to your hands to take out some sticky pieces.

5. continue to knead until it is not sticky and become smooth for 10 minutes.

6. fold in the ball like you close a book for a 5-6 times. Then put it in a bowl and put some oil around the dough.

7. wrap the bowl with plastic paper so it will not get dry and let it set and raise for 1 and a half hours or until double the size.

Kneading dough from a bread machine:
1. Using a bread machine take a bread pan, add in the wet ingredients, then dry
ingridents. Make a well and add in the yeast. Snap the bread pan back in the machine. Set the machine to dough setting and press start and the machine will do all the kneading for you.

2.  Take the dough out and see if it’s transparent and does not break apart when you stretch the dough wide. If it break then you need to knead it a bit more. Dust some flour on the work surface so the dough will not stick. Knead 2-3 mintues. Check to see if the dough transparents and does not break. That when you know it is ready.

3. While the dough is in the bowl, press it flat and make sure it is cover the whole bowl. Use a hot cloth and cover the dough, so that it can raise faster. By covering the dough you prevent it from getting dry. Let the dough sit and rise for 1 -1 and a half hours or until double the size.  (note: If you do not cover the dough it will become dry and will be no good anymore

1. When the dough is finish raising take dough and cut it in half. Use your fingers around the dough and spread the dough apart. Then use a rolling pin to try to shape it round a bit. Take the round dough and use your hands and toss it side ways back and forward a few seconds.

2. place the dough on a pizza tray and spread it round on the pizza tray with your hands.

3. use a fork and poke holes so there are no air bubble while baking.

4. You can spread tomato sauce around the dough, add shredded cheese, and mint herbs.
(Note: You can put what ever ingredients of your desire on the pizza dough)

5. preheat oven at 450f for 10-12 mintues

6. When the preheat is done. Take the pizza pan and place in the oven and bake for 12-14 until the bottom is slightly golden brown and the cheese are melted perfectly.
(Note: if you like it crispy, crust crispy and will eat it all tonight bake it for 20 min)

13. Transfer to a wire rake and let it cool. If you let it hot you can eat it right away.

14. slice into triangle pizza pieces with kitchen scissors or a pizza knife.

Boiled bok choy with ginger

These bok choy are very delicious and easy to make. Look at how greenly and beautiful it came out after boiling from the water. This is a perfect combination dish that goes well with noddles or rice. Which every choice of your desire. You can buy the bok choy at any supermarket. It usually comes in packages in a bag.
The bok choy are very healthy vegetable to eat. Boiling bok choy are very healthy. After boiling the bok choy, The water that is left in the large pan, you can drink it as a soup or use it for noodles. This is a very good dish to make.
Kids and adults would like this boiled bok choy. It is very healthy and good for the eyes.
The colour of this dish came out very nice. It tastes very delicious, and I like it a lot. You can have this for lunch or dinner. If you are a vegetarian, This will be a perfect dish to make. Washing process:
1. Take the package of bok choy and set it aside.
2. In the cupboard take out a strainer and a big container to
wash the bok choy.
3. Place the large container in the sink. Take the strainer and place it
on the other sink next to it or on the counter with a container to hold the strainer from the water dripping everywhere.
4. Take the bok choy out of the package and place it in the big container.
5. Use the knife and cut off the end hard part.
6. Separate each bok choy pieces apart.
7. Open the cold water and fill it up. While washing, shake each pieces in the water to take the dirty stuff out and rinse it with tap water.
(note: Make sure all the dirty stuff is out and each vegetable is clean.)
8. Each time a pieces of shanghai bok choy is wash, place it in the strainer.
9. Repeat the same step by washing the shanghai bok choy 4-5 times.

Preparing the ginger:
1. Take a ginger.
2. Place it onto a cutting board.
3. Cut into slice pieces
4. put it into a bowl and set it aside.

Cooking Direction:
1. In the cupboard take out a pot or a large pan.
2. Place on the stove.
3. Pour some cold water into the large pan.
4. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid.
5. Wait for about 10-15 minutes or until the water is boiling
6. When the water starts boiling, add in the bok choy and ginger into the large pan and cover the lid.
(Note: Make sure all the shangai bok choy pieces are in the water and nothing is sticking out.)
9. Wait for the bok choy to boil up again. It might take around 5-6 mintues
8. When the bok choy is boiling again. Let it sit and cook in the boiling water for 4 minutes.
9. When 4 minutes is ready. Open the lid and take a fork or a cooking spatula and touch to see if the bok choy is soft.
10. When the bok choy is soft that mean tit is ready. If they are still hard. You need to cook it a bit longer.
11. Once they are soft and ready. Turn off the heat and place all the boy choy onto a plate and place it on the table.
12. Enjoy.

Boiled yu choy with garlic

This yu choy is very delicious and easy to make. The yu choy came out perfectly after boiling from a large pan. It does not look to hard or soft. It is just the perfect texture to eat.
Look how green and beautiful it is. It brightens the colour of the dish. I like this dish a lot. You can buy yu choy at a Chinese supermarket.
This is a perfect combination dish that goes well with noddles or rice. Which ever you choose as your desire. The yu choy is a very healthy vegetable to eat. It is good for the body and eyes. If you’re a vegetarian person, this will be a perfect dish to make at home. It only has vegetable with no meat, oil or salt. A healthy way of making an Yu choy.
The boiling vegetable is very healthy. After boiling the yu choy with the water left in the large pan, you can drink it as soup. It saves time in making a soup. Washing yu choy:
1. Take the package of yu choy out of the fridge.
2. In the cupboard, take out a strainer and a big container to wash the yu choy.
3. Place the large container in the sink. Take a strainer and place it on the other sink.
4. Take the yu choy out of the package and place it in the big container.
5. Separate each yu choy apart. Use a knife and cut off the hard part.
6. Open each yu choy wide and wash it in the water very clean, make sure there is no dirty stuff in the vegetable.
7. Open the cold water and fill the container with water. Take the yu choy in each hand. Turn it upside down and separate apart and shake it in the water.
(Note: Make sure all the dirty stuff is out and each vegetable is clean.)
8. Each time a piece is washed, place it in the strainer.
9. Check the water if there is any dirty stuff. Once the water is clear, that means the watercress is clean.
10. Fill the container with water and wash the yu choy four times. Once it’s all washed, put it aside.
(Note: make sure it is all clean and has no dirty stuff.)

Preparing garlic and ginger:
1. Take garlic. Use a knife and peel the skins.
2. Take the garlic’s. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into pieces.
3. Take a ginger. Use a spoon and peel the skin.
4. Place the ginger on a cutting board.
5. Cut the ginger into pieces and place it in a bowl and set it aside.

Cooking Direction:
1. In the cupboard, take out a large pan.
2. Place it on the stove.
3. Pour some water into the large pan. Then add some sliced garlic
(note: Add just the right amount of water that you need to boil the yu choy.)
4. Turn on the heat to high and cover the lid.
5. Wait until the water is boiling.
6. When the water is boiling, add the yu choy into a large pan and cover the lid.
(Note: Make sure all the yu choy are on the water and nothing is sticking out.)
8. Just wait for it to boil up. Once the water is boiling up, open the lid and keep the lid off.
(Note: Keeping the cover off will prevent the vegetable from being not having a good colour.)
9. When the yu choy is boiling again. Leave it on the water for two more minutes. 
(Note: Do not cook the yu choy too long, it will not stay greenly.)
12. Once it’s ready, turn off the heat and place all the yu choy on a plate and place it on the table.
13. Enjoy.

Steamed pampano fish topped with green onions and coriander

This is the 30th time I made steamed pampano fish topped with green onions and corinader. The pampano fish smells so good when it comes out of the steamer. It is fresh fish from a frozen package. You can buy pampano fish at a Chinese supermarket.
To marinated the fish I put turmeric, soya sauce, garlic powder, garlic and onions outside and inside. If your pampano does not have a fresh smell then put some Chinese cooking wine inside. It will make the fish taste better. If the pamapno is fresh, you do not need to put any cooking wine in it. The Chinese cooking wine can be bought at a Chinese supermarket. Steaming fish is very healthier.
To steam a pampano fish, you have to take a portable steamer or a large pan. Pour some water and boil on high heat. Close the lid. When the water starts boiling, put the pampano into the steamer. I steam the fish for 8 minutes. You can steam it for 1-2 extra minutes to ensure it is properly cooked. To know if the fish is ready. Take a knife and insert it in the middle. If you feel the bone, that means it’s ready. If not, you need to cook it a bit longer. When it is done, be careful taking the plate of steam fish out of the steamer. It is very hot.
When eating the fish, there are bones. Be careful eating it. The meats inside are very awesome and tasty. I like it a lot. You can defrost the frozen pampano fish the night before in the fridge. Pampano is one of my favorite fish.
When eating fish, it is best to go with rice. Make sure there are no bones before mixing it into the rice. It is best to eat the whole fish on the same day once it is steam, to get the freshness of the fish. Once you eat this steam pampano fish, you will like it a lot. Try to make this fish, and you will enjoy it.

Direction Cleaning:
1. Take the frozen Pampano out of the freezer.
2. Take a bowl of hot water and soak the frozen pampano fish in the bowl, to unfrozen it for about 4-5 minutes.
3. Put a pair of dishwasher gloves.
4. Take it out of the bowl.
5. Open the bag with scissors and take the fish out of the bag.
6. Wash the fish
7. Take a knife and fish. At an angle of the knife, scrape off the scales everywhere on the fish. This fish does not have a 8. lot of scales to scrape off. Compare to other fishes. If the fish have a not fresh smell. Put some salt on both sides of the body and inside too!
(Note: putting salt can take the non-fresh smell away.)
9. Take scissors and cut off the mouth guard. Cut a straight line on the stomach almost to the middle
10. Take out all the disgusting intestine, the red guts and also the mouth guard out of the fish.
11. When it is all clean. Rinse inside and make sure there is no dirty thing inside.
12. When done. Rinse the fish again and put it on a plastic bowl to get all the water out.

Preparing the onions and ginger:
1. Take an onion. Use a knife peeler and peel the onion skin.
2. Place it on the cutting board. Cut each onion in half. Put it on the side and cut it into slices.
3. Take ginger. Use a slice cutter and slice the ginger into strips of pieces
4. Place them into a bowl and set it aside.

Marinating the fish:
1. put the fish on the plate.
2. sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour some soya sauce and turmeric on the body
3. Repeat the same steps on the other side of the fish.
4. Inside the fish, sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour some soya sauce, turmeric and Chinese cooking wine.
5. Spread some onions on top of the fish, inside and some at the bottom of the plate.
6. In the bowl, take some sliced ginger strips and spread them on top of the fish. Then put some inside the fish.
(Note: Marinating inside the fish and putting ginger and onions can take the non-fresh smell out of the fish.)

Steaming the pampano fish:
1. In the cupboard, Take a large pan and place it on the stove.
2. Put some water, the amount you need to steam the fish.
3. Put a steamer tray. Close the lid.
4. Once the water starts boiling, put the fish inside the steamer tray.
5. Take a couple of green beans and wash it. Then place it around the steamer. Close the lid.
6. Cook the fish for about 12-15 minutes.
( Note: A small size fish cooking time takes 10 minutes.)
7. Once the fish is ready. Use a knife and stick it in the middle to see if it touches the bone. Then you know it’s ready. If not, you need to cook a bit longer.
8. Once it is ready. Turn of the heat.
9. In the fridge, take out some green onions and rinse it.
10. Chop up some green onion. Sprinkle some green onions on top of the fish.

Snow pea with Chinese mushroom and pork

Stir-fried snow peas with Chinese mushroom and pork are simple to make. The cooking time does not take long. I decided to put some Chinese mushrooms and pork to make the dish look colourful. If you don’t like the Chinese mushrooms, you can eliminate them and make stir-fried snow peas with pork.
If you decide to use the Chinese mushroom, You can make the dry mushrooms the night before in an instant pot to save time. Leave them to soak inside instant pot water overnight.
First, I cook the porks. It cooks fast in the pan. Keep an eye on the pork, or it will become tough. The pork needs to be cooked well-done without any pink or red inside showing. When done cooking in a frying pan, put it into a bowl and set it aside.
Second, I re-use the same frying pan and cook the snow peas. I put the snow pea into the frying pan. I stir the snow peas a bit. Pour a bit of water into the pan. Then close the lid and let it cook for a bit. After a minute, open the lid, take a piece and taste if it’s crunchy and tender. Once it is the right texture, that means it is ready.
Since the Chinese mushroom are cooked in an instant pot and ready to eat. I pour the Chinese mushroom into the pan with the snow pea. I stir a bit. Then added a bit of water. I close the lid and wait until the water starts boiling. Once the water starts boiling. Pour in the pork pieces and stir them all together. Turn off the heat, scoop up all the snow peas with Chinese mushroom and pork onto a plate and place it on the table.
Kids and adults will like this dish a lot. You can eat this dish for lunch or dinner. I recommend having this with rice. This snow peas with Chinese mushroom and pork and the sauce can be mixed with the rice. If you can’t finish it, you can put it in the fridge and eat it the next day. Direction:
Cooking Chinese mushrooms from an instant pot:

1. Take the Chinese mushroom out of the bag.
2. Rinse the Chinese mushrooms.
3. Put the Chinese mushrooms into a bowl and soak them over water for 30 minutes.
4. Take out an instant pot. Put some water. Take the bowl of Chinese mushroom and put it in the instant pot.
5. Close the lid. Press the manual button, and it will start automatically.
6. When done. It will release the pressure of the value.
(Note: Never open the lid of the pressure cooker while it is releasing the pressure, or else it will explode.)
7. Once done and the grey thing drops to the bottom, that means it is ready.
8. Take out the Chinese mushroom and put it in a bowl.
9. Rise with cold water until it’s completely cold.

Preparation of the pork:
1. Take the pork package, take as many as you needed and put it on the cutting board. 
The rest is leftover. Wrap it with a plastic wrapper and put it in the freezer.
2. Cut the pork into pieces, put it in a bowl and set them aside.
3. Take as many Chinese mushrooms as needed, put them on a strainer and rinse it. Set them aside.

Preparation of snow peas:
1. In the fridge, take out the package of snow peas. Remove from package.
2. Take a snow pea, hold the end part and pull downward to remove the strings. Also, remove the bad parts.
3. Repeat the same step for the rest.
4. When all finish. Wash the snow peas and set it aside.

Cooking the porks:
1.In the cupboard, take out fry pans and put it on the stove.
2. Turn the heat to high.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil.
4. Put the porks into the pan and turn the heat to medium-low.
5. Separate the porks apart and stir a bit,
6. Put a bit of salt, garlic powder and soya sauce.
7. Stir a bit. Let it cook on one side a bit. Turn the heat to low. Then turn it on the other side.
(Note: Keep an eye on the porks because they cook fast. Don’t overcook the porks. It will be tough.)
8. Cook the porks until there is no more pink or red showing.
(Note: you can take kitchen scissors and cut them in the middle to see if the pork cooked well. )
9. Put in some flour to coat the porks and stir until you do not see any more flours.
10. When the porks are done, turn off the heat and put it in a bowl and set it aside.

Cooking the snow peas with Chinese mushrooms and pork:
1. In the cupboard, take out a frying pan and put it on the stove.
2. Turn on the heat.
3. When the pan is hot, put some oil in it.
4. Put in the onions and stir until it is almost ready.
5. Put the snow peas into the frying pan and stir.
6. Sprinkle some salt, garlic powder and pour some soya sauce and stir to mix.
7. Pour in some water and close the lid.
8. Stir the snow peas. Take a snow pea, taste if it’s a bit crunchy and tender.
If not, then it needs to be cooked longer.
Close the lid and let it cook a bit.
(Note: keep an eye on the snow peas, they will become tender and not very good.)
When the snow peas are a bit crunchy and tender.
9. Take the strainer of Chinese mushrooms, put it in the frying pan.
10. Stir the snow peas and the Chinese mushroom together.
11. Sprinkle some garlic powder and add a bit of soya sauce.

13. When the bottom water starts boiling, Put the porks into the pan.
14. Mix it together.
15. Turn off the heat and scoop up all the snow peas with Chinese mushroom and pork
onto a plate and place it on the table.

This is a steamed pampano fish topped with green onions. It is the 28th time I made this fish. You can find pampano fish at a Chinese supermarket. It usually comes in a frozen package. Sometimes when you choose pampapno fish it comes in small and big in the package. If you buy big, you can have more to eat compare to eating a small pampano fish. When buying a forzen fish, most of the time it needs to be clean. When you learn how to clean a fish, you will get the hang of it and can clean any kind of fish.

5. Take a bag of small peppers.
6. Take a slice cutter and make sure the knife is attach to the slice cutter.
7. Slice the orange peppers into slices.
8. Place them into a bowl and set it aside.

6. In the bowl, take some sliced ginger strips and spread them on top of the fish. Then put some inside the fish. Then topped some sliced pieces of orange peppers.

10. Chop up some green onion. Sprinkle some green onions on top of the fish.
